Moving out!!
Okay so I'm tired of messing with Blogger and pictures not loading and many other things. So I jumped on the band wagon and moved over to Word Press. It's not to hard, just need to figure some things out.
1. Do you find yourself driving less due to the high gas prices?
No not really, but I really don't drive a lot unless the kids have something they need to do.
2. This week, Exxon Mobil reported quarterly profits of more than $10.3 billion, the second-best quarter ever for a U.S. company. As we're paying, on average, $3.00 per gallon here in the U.S., do you think the oil companies are using the conflict in the Mid-East as an excuse to gouge consumers?
Heck yeah! Especially after hearing they (the oil companies) are reporting a 65% higher than last year increase.
3. According to the Department of Energy, adjusted for inflation, the price of gasoline is still below its all time peak back in 1981. Back in 1981 the average new car got 21 miles per gallon. Today the average new car gets 22 miles per gallon. Why do you think there hasn't been more innovation and progress in this area?
It's a government conspiracy! They raise gas prices, we buy vehicles that use less gas, they raise prices again, and we're stuck with 5 years worth of payments that we can barely afford and higher gas prices.
I've been tagged by Irish Church Lady to: 1. Do the following WITHOUT complaint. 2. Choose five people to do this after you've completed yours. 3. Something Mean Looking
Ewwwwwwww!! Scary!! He's so vicious looking in this picture! I mean look at him in all of his fat glory and his big yellow glowing eyes!! He's taking over the vacuum cleaner... If he's managed to take over that, I wonder what's next...
My Weapons
Okay, other than words or my sweet little home demolishing team, I really don't have any weapons. So in SOCOM style I am brandishing my M60E3. My clan mates tell me when they see the muzzle flash they know to duck and cover. I may not be the best player and my aim is crappy, but at least I'll take you down enough for the next player to kill you... BOOYAH!
My Hiding Place
At risk of incriminating myself I will not answer this without my lawyer present...
Okay I'm going to make this one short and sweet because I'm starting to hurt from sitting here in this computer chair. Over the last 5 years I've had, lets say girly issues. After I had Ian they only got worse. So about 2 months ago, after begging for 3 years, my Dr relented and said we could remove what was causing the issues. So Friday morning I had a partial Hysterectomy. Everything went well, except for the me freaking out in the recovery room thing, and I am home. I am now off to take something for pain and will see you all a little later.
Okay so I thought I would get everything up to date and My SPF up before I went to the hospital, but at 4 in the morning it didn't look like it was going to get done. So here I am 2 days late, but better than never.
Taking Names & Making Wishes
Stuff Unnoticed
Something you have that goes unnoticed even though it's there for the world to see
When in a crowd I tend to stand back and try to keep my head low. I have real self esteem issues, which are rearing their ugly heads right now. I guess I figure, if I remain unseen than there's no chance of me making a mistake or saying the wrong thing.
My Wish
I have always wanted a Suburban. I can hear my mom and mother in law now... "You don't want that, it's to big... blah, blah, blah..." It's perfect for me. There's more than enough room for me and the kids, there's enough room for the groceries and so on. So my wish is to eventually own one of these.
Under my Sink
Believe it or not this is one of the more organized places in my house. For whatever reason it's not that bad and I'm not complaining.
